In 2018, founders Daniel and Shirley Wajdik launched an inaugural food truck venture, which swiftly became a beloved fixture in the Long Island community. Ever-present at local festivals and events, both public and private, the Wajdik’s food truck empire grew strong.

Then the pandemic hit, and everything changed.

Forced to adapt and evolve, we pivoted from our wildly successful food truck model to brick-and-mortar. In 2023, we secured a lease in the charming town of Mattituck, New York, and The Taco 105 was born.

The Taco 105 offers a novel and delectable assortment of tacos from various culinary traditions around the globe. Our signature menu item is complemented by an array of tantalizing entrees, appetizers, desserts, and more – crafted through over a decade of experience as professionally trained chefs and entrepreneurs.

Firmly rooted in the quality, innovation, and sense of fun that grew our initial following, we’re excited to bring our local success to new markets through franchise offerings.
